Keeping Myself Accountable As Promised

It’s a new month already.  That time again to check in and report how the weight loss is going.  I will admit it was touch and go there for a bit.  It got very cold for Florida so my walking time was cut short.  My old bones don’t like the cold anymore, so being outside walking was hard on me.  However, I still did the weight exercises indoors.  I do like to put the two together but, I’m not going to make myself hurt in the process.  Feel like that just defeats the purpose.  But, I’m happy to report that I have lost a total of 9 lbs.

Those 9 lbs were lost due to help from the Endocrinologist.  After 7 years of not having my thyroid regulated properly, he’s finally got it at a level that is, in his words, “optimal range”.  He’s also put me on a diet pill to help jump-start the weight loss.  I’ve been averaging a pound a day loss since starting the new thyroid regimen and diet pill.  Not sure how long he’s going to leave me on the diet pill, so I’m taking full advantage of this jump start while I have it.

Also, the weather is starting to warm back up so that means I can get back to the walking routine.

As it stands to date, I am now 211. 🙂
